About Dr. Silver
Dr. Silver is a board‑certified orthopedic surgeon with more than two decades of experience providing comprehensive musculoskeletal care in the Capital Region. His clinical practice includes general orthopedics with a strong commitment to patient‑centered, evidence‑based treatment.
Dr. Silver has been apart of OrthoNY since 2013. Before joining OrthoNY, he practiced at Orthopedic Associates of Saratoga, where he served as both an employee from 2000 to 2002 and later as a partner from 2002 to 2013. He also served as Managing Partner at BOSS Enterprises of Saratoga beginning in 2002.
He earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and completed his internship in General Surgery at the University of Rochester. He continued his training at the University of Rochester, completing his Orthopedic Surgery Residency in 2000. Dr. Silver also holds graduate-level training from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and completed his undergraduate studies at Union College in Schenectady.
Dr. Silver is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, with board certification achieved in 2002 and recertification in 2012. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
