About Dr. Brod
Dr. Brod is a board‑certified orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty certification in hand surgery, offering comprehensive care for conditions of the hand and upper extremity. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University, a Level 1 Trauma Center in Syracuse, before advancing his training through the Tufts Combined Hand Fellowship at Tufts Medical Center and New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.
Before joining OrthoNY, Dr. Brod practiced at North Country Orthopedic Specialists in Queensbury from 2014 to 2017. He then joined Glens Falls Orthopedic Specialists, where he served as a practicing orthopedic surgeon as well as Chief of Orthopedics at Glens Falls Hospital beginning in 2017.
Dr. Brod is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and holds additional subspecialty certification in Surgery of the Hand. He maintains an active New York State medical license.
He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine, graduating magna cum laude. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Rochester, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with distinction.
