About Alexa
Alexa is a native to the Capital Region, growing up in Clifton Park, NY. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University at Albany in 2011, and received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Albany Medical College in 2014. Following graduation, she relocated to Queens/Long Island, NY where she worked for seven years in the Emergency Department at North Shore University Hospital. She returned to Clifton Park with her husband and daughter in 2021 and has worked in general surgery and family medicine since that time.
Alexa is board certified by the NCCPA and is licensed to practice in New York. She joined OrthoNY in 2025 and works with Dr. Brod both in the office and operating room.
Outside of work, Alexa enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle with daily exercise as well as spending time with her husband, two children, family and friends.
