About Leann
Leann Thrane is a certified Physician Assistant who has been employed by OrthoNY since December of 2007 and works both in the operating room and in the office with Dr. John T. Whalen who specializes in spine.
Leann is from the Capital Region. She received her Bachelors Degree in Biology from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY and attended Springfield College in Massachusetts where she received her Certification in Physician Assistant studies in 2004. She has been NCCPA board certified since 2005. She has also worked in urogynecology assisting both surgically and in the office.
Her non-professional interests include traveling, golfing, reading, shopping, and spending time with her family & friends.
