Ambulatory Surgery Centers
Ambulatory surgery centers specialize in meeting the needs of orthopedic patients whose treatment does not require hospital admission. Convenient and cost-effective, ambulatory surgery staff welcome patients on the day of their procedure, perform surgeries in fully accredited and equipped operating rooms, and supervise recovery, preparing the patient and caregiver for continued recovery at home. From young children to older adults, patients and families benefit from the comfortable environment of an ambulatory surgery center, with minimal separation from each other, and extensive pre- and post-op coaching and care.

ONY Ambulatory Surgery Centers
(formerly known as Executive Woods Ambulatory Surgery Center/EWASC)
Established in 2000 by the orthopedic surgeons of Northeast Orthopedics, and licensed by the State of New York, the facility has three modern operating rooms. This team shaped OrthoNY’s ambulatory surgery standards for patient care.
Opened in February 2019, OSS allows our Saratoga and Schenectady physicians to treat patients in four state-of-the-art operating rooms, with six preoperative beds and 12 additional recovery beds.
Located right next door to OrthoNY’s Albany office and Urgent Care, our newest ambulatory surgery center is a collaborative effort with Albany ENT & Allergy Services, providing OrthoNY physicians with four orthopedic operating rooms and another 15 rooms dedicated to pre-op care and recovery.
All three facilities are committed to providing the highest quality health care as outlined by the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). OrthoNY Albany, OrthoNY Surgical Suites, and Everett Road Surgery Center, having demonstrated a commitment to developing and adopting nationally recognized standards, are accredited by AAAHC.
