Albany, NY – OrthoNY, one of the New York Capital Region’s leading orthopedic groups, is continuing to expand its offerings with a dual fellowship trained foot and ankle specialist, Michel Taylor, MD. Dr. Taylor specializes in both foot and ankle orthopedic surgery and orthopedic trauma surgery, furthering the organization’s offerings in the foot and ankle area.

Dr. Taylor has a particular interest in complex foot and ankle reconstruction, including primary and revision total ankle arthroplasty, complex periarticular ankle fractures including pilon fractures, and flatfoot reconstruction. In addition, he performs all elective and trauma procedures addressing ankle, hindfoot, midfoot and forefoot pathology.

Prior to making the move to OrthoNY, Dr. Taylor practiced at the University of Arizona for two years and spent five years in Nashville in private practice where he treated foot and ankle disorders and covered the university’s level 1 trauma center.

With the addition of Dr. Taylor, OrthoNY is providing more access to patients with offices in Albany, Clifton Park and Schenectady. Not only will OrthoNY be able to offer enhanced foot and ankle services, but it will also provide the organization with more time and expertise in treating additional patients to further showcase the highest level of care possible.
