About Dr. Rosas
Dr. Rosas is a board‑certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery, with advanced fellowship training and more than 20 years of clinical experience. He joined OrthoNY in 2008 and provides comprehensive care for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, from sports injuries and fractures to complex reconstructive procedures.
Before joining OrthoNY, Dr. Rosas served as an attending orthopedic surgeon at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown from 2005 to 2008. He previously completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, followed by a fellowship in Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Rosas earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn in 1998. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, and prior to attending medical school, worked as a mechanical engineer at Maritime Applied Physics Corporation in Maryland.
He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Society.
