About Dr. Single

Dr. Single is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in comprehensive care of the hip and knee, with a focus on adult reconstruction and joint replacement. He has expertise in robotic assisted total knee replacement, direct anterior total hip replacement, mobile bearing partial knee replacement, revision total hip and total knee replacement, and knee arthroscopy.

Dr. Single earned his undergraduate degree from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Physics. He was a two time Academic All American in wrestling. He attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree. He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Following residency, he worked as a staff member in the Department of Adult Reconstruction at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation from 2003 to 2011. He has also worked as a staff member at Tidelands Health in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, performing adult reconstruction from 2013 to the present.

Dr. Single is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and has more than 20 years of experience.

Dr. Single specializes in operative and nonoperative treatment of hip and knee conditions. He performs robotic assisted total knee replacement, direct anterior total hip replacement, mobile bearing partial knee replacement, revision total hip and total knee replacement, and knee arthroscopy.

His surgical practice focuses primarily on the following:
