About Rich
Rich Dalaba is a native of the Capital Region, growing up in Stillwater, New York. Rich joined Northeast Orthopedics after receiving his Masters Degree from the Albany Medical College PA program in July of 2008. He is board certified by NCCPA and a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS). His time is spent both in the office and operating room working with Dr. Frank Congiusta, a total joint specialist. Prior to joining the practice, he was a Registered Nurse for 15 years previously working in Northeast Orthopedics ambulatory surgery center. His other nursing experiences include general surgery, organ donation and emergency care. He has also taken part in several medical missions with Operation Walk Virginia doing hip and knee replacements for patients in underserved countries. He is a member of the adjunct faculty at his alma mater, Albany Medical College’s PA Program.
His outside interests include golfing, spending time with his wife Joy and son Aaron, and small engine repair.
