A native of Delmar, NY, Dr. Donovan earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from SUNY Geneseo. He earned his doctorate of medicine from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine in 2012 where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, of which he is still an active member.

Dr. Donovan then moved to New York City where he completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at Mount Sinai-St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals. Following his training in general orthopedics, he completed a year of subspecialty training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of California Irvine.
