Kevin S. Kleis, DOOrthopedic Surgeon in Saratoga and Malta, NY
Dr. Kevin Kleis joined OrthoNY in January 2020 and is currently seeing patients in Malta and Saratoga Springs.
Specializing in care of the hip and knee, he earned his degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and interned at Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley, California. Dr. Kleis then completed a four-year residency at Riverside University Health System, ultimately serving as chief orthopedic surgical resident.

Most recently, Dr. Kleis directed the joint arthroplasty program at Riverside Orthopedic Institute. In this role, he developed a perioperative educational program and protocols to effectively reduce length of stay and optimize patient outcomes following total joint reconstruction.
Dr. Kleis has extensive experience in adult joint reconstruction, including anterior total hip arthroplasty, and is highly skilled in traumatology, focusing on complex polytrauma and pelvic ring and acetabulum fractures. As a doctor of osteopathic medicine, he also has an interest in non-operative sports medicine. His memberships include the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association of Orthopedics, Arthroscopy Association of North America, American Orthopeadic Society for Sports Medicine and the Orthopedic Trauma Association.
