OrthoNY, in conjunction with St. Peter’s Hospital and Stryker Medical Equipment Corporation, sponsored an informational lecture on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at the Desmond Hotel in Albany. Johnny Bench, Hall of Fame Major League catcher with the Cincinnati Reds, joined Drs. Fred Fletcher and Frank Congiusta of OrthoNY, to speak about total joint replacement options for patients with osteoarthritis.
Mr. Bench spoke of this experience having both of his hips replaced with both seriousness and humor. Over 350 persons enjoyed the presentation. Johnny also attended a cocktail party in his honor at St. Peter’s Hospital and a dinner with OrthoNY physicians the night before the lecture.
